I was thinking exactly the same thing. LFCC was a bit of a disappointment in terms of displays and exhibitions and so on. Unless you had loads of money to meet the guests, which unfortunately I didn't (I wish I had, there were some great people there this year) then there wasn't much to do.

UPDATE: I've started to post the pictures from Day 1 (Thursday) and you can check them out as I post them here:

I'll post as many as I can before I'm off to a busy Day 2, but will resume posting more later tonight. Please enjoy the pictures, and thanks for your patience as I upload them!

I will say that this event is definitely worth the trip. I met some people who came from Australia.

Also, with the dollar so weak, you get a lot of bang for your Euro over here.

Add in a day or two for Disneyland or Sea World and I think it's totally a winner.

I have posted my pictures from the Con. I only had half days and had to skip Saturday, so there aren't a lot of pictures.

I also posted pictures of the fun X Sanguine party I went to on Saturday.

You can see both events on my www page.

Great pictures as always. I had SO many people take my picture on Friday, but I haven't found one online yet! I don't have any good full length pictures of my new costume.

No worries at all! It's a HUGE show. I've just been looking for a good full-body shot and I know you do really comprehensive shots, so you were my best hope.

THis was my costume Friday, my Vatican vampire hunter

ID1113 (Bret) made his SDCC debut of his Green Hornet outfit.

Image

Seth Green wanted a picture with Bret and me.

Here is a picture from Yahoo Movies. Someone from the Spirit Lionsgate booth wanted us to pose with one of the models.

Image

Aside from Kato and the Green Hornet, we both wore other outfits like Cobra uniforms from GI Joe.

(from left to right: Hand-schaub (Cobra soldier), Bret (Viper), Larry Hama (GI Joe writer and effectively the creater of what is curretly know as GI Joe), myself (Storm Shadow) and a friend of mine as Snake-Eyes)

My friend and I with Ray Parks who will be Snake-Eyes in GI Joe: the Rise of Cobra movie

I escorted and wrangled Cobra costumers for the Hasbro/Paramount GI Joe panel.

Bret and Brian hanging out with some other Ghostbuster costumers from Southern California.

Posted a couple hundred so far from Day 3 (Saturday) including the 501st photoshoot. I missed a lot during the day because I was helping my friend Lionel walk around the con a little bit in his Bumblebee costume. Pics can be seen here:

EBK : Comic Con Saturday Pictures

I'll post more tomorrow night, but i'm headed to Otakon on Wednesday night, so the remaining SDCC pics will be on hold until I return from Baltimore.

Please enjoy what I've posted, and thanks for being patient!

The Green Hornet and Kato are very cool! Same for GI Joe.

On the Cobra group shot. Should the guys who are dresses as Tomax and Xamot stand beside the guy as Cobra Commander doing that same pose they did? Thats what Ray Park looks like?
